COP8 Tax is the investigations team within AMS Group's tax practice (40-year heritage, 17 UK offices, 400+ people). We advise individuals, company directors, trustees and their professional advisers when HMRC's Fraud Investigation Service opens a COP8 investigation.

ICAEW Chartered Accountants
Nick leads AMS's Tax Disputes division. He began his career at HMRC and has over 40 years' experience advising and representing clients in tax disputes. Before joining AMS, he held senior roles at Big 4 and Top 10 firms and built his own successful practice. He is an experienced litigator and mediator, represents clients in the Tax Tribunal, was a founding member of the Contentious Tax Group, and speaks and writes regularly on tax investigations.
